The seventh hole is a tree lined par 4 that requires a tee shot over a small stream to a fairway that narrows at the landing area. The second half of the hole sees a slight elevation change and the long green slopes from back to front. Bunkers protect the green on either side and players should be careful of finishing above the hole. Downhole putts are very quick and leaving them short of a front flag is very difficult. What looks like a straightforward hole requires players full attention to ensure you achieve par.

"Being an elevated tee you get a fantastic view of the whole hole. The first thing you notice is the old barn to the left hand side which not only is a large hazard to avoid, but is a great reminder of the club's former history. A beck runs in front of the ladies tee so be careful not to top your drive! Walking down towards the fairway you cross a fantastic bridge built by members of the club which fords the pretty beck making for a lovely start to the hole. The approach to the green is narrowed by trees on both sides and beware of the two bunkers on the right, the front one of which circles slightly in front of this tricky green. On the left hand side there are three pot bunkers which are very deep and which were built by the greens staff which has transformed the area around this green. The recently upgraded drainage system works well and is important as the green slopes back to front.

Overall it is a lovely hole, deceptive in appearance as it may not look tricky being a straight and relatively flat short par 4 but there are lots of hazards and a fast sloping green with hidden borrows that must not be taken for granted."
