Led by Head Professional Steven Tomkinson, the team provides a high standard of service to both members and visitors, helping make every round more enjoyable.

Meet the Team

Steven Tomkinson – Head Professional

Steven has been Head Professional at Otley since 1998. He started his career under John Hammond at Ilkley before taking up a Head Professional role in Germany, where he gained valuable coaching experience.

A PGA Member for over 40 years, Steven is known for his patient and high-quality coaching, working with golfers of all levels to improve their game.

Alex Harm – Assistant Professional

Alex joined the Otley team after playing on various professional tours and is currently working towards his PGA qualifications. He brings enthusiasm and competitive insight to his coaching and enjoys helping both adults and juniors develop their confidence and skills.

Pro Shop & Services

The Pro Shop is fully stocked with a wide range of clothing, equipment and accessories at competitive prices. Whether you’re after advice, club fitting or a last-minute prize for your society day, Steven and Alex are always happy to help.

We also offer:

Buggy and electric trolley hire
Club repairs and maintenance
Custom fitting in our indoor teaching bay (recognised PING Fitting Centre)

Coaching & Tuition

With excellent practice facilities and decades of experience, Otley is a great place to improve your game. Steven and Alex offer individual lessons, golf clinics and junior coaching.
